NATURE ATTRACTION REFERENCE
1. Seven Well Waterfall aka Telaga Tujuh Fall is a famous tourist spot. It is also the easiest to access (10 mins driving distance from Langkawi Sky Bridge). Moreover, it is also one of the routes taken for people to access Mount Mat Cincang (2nd highest mountain of Langkawi).
Fun fact about Telega Tujuh Fall! There is a legend that states that because of a fairy that used to shower in the waterfall, barren women who bathe in it can become fertile. Thus, most couples longing for a child try their luck here.

It consists of a three-tier waterfall which you will only be able to witness the stream in full flow of water, deep pool, and massive waterfall during the rainy season. It is 15km away from the Seven Well Waterfall & 42km away from Kuah Town. Another fun fact, the rocks that inhabit the Temurun waterfall are mostly sandstone & shale which are over 500 million years old.

**Beware of the moss on the rock surface to avoid any slipping.
[ The Fall ] This is how the waterfall looks like during a dry season - 200m vertical fall - the tallest waterfall in Langkawi Island so far.
3. Durian Perangin Waterfall - a less famous waterfall & campsite tourist spot but is well-known amongst the locals - (their favorite picnic spot!). In fact, this waterfall won our hearts during this trip. It is located on the northern slope of Gunung Raya - the highest mountain of Langkawi Island. Season hikers can reach Gunung Raya Peak by taking a 5km hike. A known legend says that Gunung Raya used to be a giant (Mat Raya) but was then turned into a mountain after a fight with Gunung Mat Cincang (Mat Cincang). Both turned into mountains after the resolution of their fight. You can visit this waterfall with the knowledge that mother nature has its history, do honor it the way you would honor your own home.
Durian Perangin Waterfall has a 14-tier waterfall with different sections and all sections are linked with the park's staircase. It is16km away from Kuah Town and we would recommend a visit here because it is worth every minute of your time to pay a visit.

If you have not eaten anything for your breakfast, you could consider getting your brunch fixed at this mamak after having fun at the waterfall. The stall operates from 9am.
[ Lower Fall & Staircase ] 1st Fall is a horizontal cascade pool and most of the local kids have fun over here.
[ Upper & Last Fall ] Finally, you are able to hear the waterfall sound after a 45 mins slow hike from the lower fall. We highly recommend you enjoy nature's hydro massage from the waterfall but at the same time please stay safe.
[ Hanging Footbridge ] Insta-worthy place.
4. Air Hangat Village - a modern village-type retreat located 14km away from Kuah Town. Known as the only Nature Saltwater Hot-Spring in Malaysia which is not only rare, but it can only be found in three countries in the world. This salted natural hot spring water is good for healing as well. As Langkawi harbors so many urban legends, Air Hangat is believed to be a result of the fight between Mat Raya and Mat Cincang. As they spilled hot water during their violent argument, it is believed to have created the hot springs.
